Hunger – India (Subtitled) Directed by: Katyayan Shivpurii Synopsis: Inspired by true events, Hunger is about a homeless man and his love for food. He is a pauper in life but at heart, he is connoisseur of "gourmet" food. He does not eat to live. He lives to eat...and eat well! Living by the railway tracks, the homeless man makes his meagre living by selling novelty items at the busy traffic signals on the streets of Mumbai. The high point of his colourless existence is passing this busy restaurant that serves the food that he dreams of. The sizzling, steaming colourful platters of food make his mouth water while his eyes well up with desire. And one day through happy chance, he gets an opportunity to fulfil his little life's big desire. Our pauper sets out on an adventure of whimsy and indulgence while gradually the hunger within surrenders to the greed of human nature. While light-heartedly exposing the consequences that follow the man's weakness in the face of greed, hunger is a universal story of everyman and his unfulfilled desire!

His relationship with Mateus Solano's Fisherman character is infused with oppression, which raises the question: how abusive is men's demeanor against nature? Fused with fragments of religion and the media through the roles of a Pastor (David Júnior) and a Reporter (Iane de Jesus), this "magic realism" universe presents an apocalyptical atmosphere with characters that serve as allegories between men and the environment, hero and antagonist. Mamie – Switzerland (Subtitled) Directed by: Benoît Monney Synopsis: Worried about the health of his grandmother who doesn't recognize him anymore, Antoine pays her a visit to attempt to bring her memory back. Muzzle – United Kingdom Directed by: Adam Etheridge Synopsis: 11 year old Kayla has learned to make herself invisible. This is particularly useful at home, where it’s better not to be seen by her volatile Father. When new neighbours move in next door, she discovers that her magic powers don’t seem to work on the scary dog that lives in their backyard. Despite her fear, and fueled by curiosity, Kayla dares to befriend the neglected dog, and names it William. Late one night William is forced into an illegal dog fight. Kayla tries to intervene but is bitten by the rival dog. The teenage lads next door run away leaving Kayla to be discovered, injured and alone with William. Kayla is going to have to make herself seen and heard, if she is to prove the innocence of her new friend. This is a simple, warm and surprisingly uplifting story about overcoming abuse by making a stand on behalf of others.
